About Forget Me Not

In 2012, I made the life-changing decision to move to Alaska, carrying with me a dream I had held close for years: to create a space where generations could connect, share, and truly thrive together. Shortly after, my boyfriend, Cory, now husband, joined me, and together we began building a life rooted in purpose, love, and community.

In 2018, we welcomed our son, Adrian Alexander, and with him, our vision became even clearer. We dreamed of a place where children and seniors could share moments of joy—cooking together, gardening in the summer sun, listening to stories, making art and music, and simply enjoying each other's company. We wanted a home filled with warmth, laughter, and the kind of everyday magic that comes from being together.

In 2023, we began our Residential Assisted Living journey with Northern Living Center—and we have loved every moment of it. That first home affirmed everything we believed in. The joy, the connection, and the profound sense of purpose it brought to our lives and the lives of our residents inspired us to grow that dream even further.

As we shaped our vision, we were incredibly fortunate to build Forget Me Not in one of the most beautiful spots in Anchorage—overlooking the city skyline, embraced by the Chugach Mountains. Forget Me Not is a natural evolution of our vision from Northern Living Center, shaped by what we've learned, the people we've met, and the belief that we can always keep improving.

Forget Me Not is a home built on connection, purpose, and heartfelt care. We provide assisted living and memory care in a warm, homestead-style environment where every detail is designed to feel comforting, familiar, and welcoming. Our goal has always been simple: for every resident, staff member, and visitor to feel valued, supported, and truly at home the moment they walk through the door.

This vision is deeply personal to me. I grew up in a traditional Vietnamese household, where multigenerational living wasn't just normal—it was cherished. Elders were cared for at home, surrounded by family, conversation, and love. When I came to America, I saw how busy schedules, long distances, and modern life made it harder for families to preserve those traditions. I wanted to bridge that gap—to create a place where people could feel that same closeness and sense of belonging I grew up with.

With a background in public health, I've gained a deep understanding of seniors' unique needs and the power of meaningful connection. I've seen how love, community, and a sense of purpose can transform lives at any age.

Forget Me Not brings all of this to life—blending the warmth of family living with the support of a compassionate, dedicated team. Every day, I'm inspired by the small, beautiful moments that happen in our home: shared laughter over breakfast, a quiet conversation on the porch, a resident teaching a child a new skill, or a staff member offering comfort with genuine kindness.
